Singler Gets Laid Out--

If you're like most people in America your still pretty pissed that the Dukies won the National Title last night. I hope this video provides some consolation for God keeping Gordon Hayward's shot from going in at the buzzer. You're looking for Matt Howard laying a vicious screen on Kyle Singler as Hayward approaches halfcourt. Ouch.

PS- After seeing how close Hayward's shot was to going in the only thing I could think of was the scene in D1: The Mighty Ducks when the kid Gordon Bombay's penalty shot hits off the pipe after a sick triple deke. Heartbreaking. "A quarter of an inch this way and it would have gone in. A quarter of an inch Charlie." Charlie responds with a comment wise beyond his years, "Yeah Coach, but a quarter of an inch the other way, and you'd have missed completely." And so it was with Gordon Hayward last night.
