Evan Turner is the AP Player of the Year
Turner was the obvious choice here. He's unbelievably productive. His stat line includes numbers that would be impressive for all 5 positions. He averaged 20.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5.9 assists 1.7 steals and 1 block. Unbelievable numbers if you ask me. The guy is a triple double machine. I don't know how he recovered so fast after he broke his back. That was a nasty fall. I think that made everyone in the world let out a painful "ahh" when they saw it He's a fantasy basketball owner's dream. He only has 2 weakness. Number one, he's extremely turnover prone. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though because he had the ball in his hands more than anyone in college basketball. Secondly, excluding Hansbrough, he's probably the most awkward person in sports. Just look at that picture.
Here's the video of him breaking his back. Ouch.
