Larry Drew Transferring?

I talk a lot of shit about Larry Drew II on this website. I think he is the sole reason we have lost so many games this season. Even when he had a decent game (10 points 8 assists 3 TOs) and the Heels beat Wake, he still did everything in his power to lose it. He went 4-12 from the charity stripe, and most of his attempts came in the last 3 minutes. When Roy starts screaming at you and showing you proper form from the sidelines, there's an issue. Anyway apparently he's thinking about leaving UNC and going to the West Coast. He knows he'll be right back on the bench next year with 5 star point guard Kendall Marshall coming in. I thought I'd be excited to hear about Larry leaving, but I'm realizing that I'd be happy for Larry the starting PG to get the fuck out, but Larry the backup PG can and should stick around. He's not a pro prospect. Winning a 2nd national championship in 3 years will do a lot more for his career than playing for any other team. Don't be selfish Larry Drew Two.

  1. The sole reason for them losing games is Roy Williams. But then again you can't blame him because he doesn't have enough McDonald's All-Americans. Whoops......

  2. Roy Williams is a horrible coach but a great recruiter. I can think of atleast 4 other coaches in the ACC that are better at coaching up talent than him. Top 4 Coaches in the ACC:
    1. Coach K
    2. Gary Williams
    3. Seth Greenburg
    4. Dino Gaudio

  3. Well considering the fact that recruiting is probably the most important part about being a college basketball coach, I'd say Roy is a pretty fucking great coach. Seth GreenBERG? Come on anonymous. That guy has zero control over his players. Maybe the fact that his team is full of no character thugs keeps him out of the tournament. CBS doesn't want to see Jeff Allen give the ref a shoulder bump after fouling out again. And what has Dino Gaudio done? You can't put guys who have never coached a team beyond the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament ahead of Roy Williams. Think before you comment. By the way, you said "at least" 4 coaches better than Roy. Who's next? Sidney Lowe? Al Skinner?
