- John Kruk
Professional baseball is amazing. MLB is the only sport in the world where you can make millions of dollars pretending to be an athlete. John Kruk is the perfect example of this. Just look at the guy.
Many people will argue that baseballs players are exceptional athletes, and there are without a doubt great athletes who play the game. But don't let them convince you its a universal truth because guys like Kruk, David Wells, and even Babe Ruth have proved that you can eat and drink all the time and still be a successful baseball player. Kruk somehow managed to become a 4-time All-Star and batted .300 for his career. He ended his career in a pretty unique, awesome way too. After hitting a single against Baltimore in 1995 in the first inning he simply walked out of the dugout, showered, met his family, and left the stadium never to play again.
